Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

my husband has been incarcerated since november 2009. i now want to file for divorce. our apartment lease is under my name, but he IS listed as an occupant. i don't want to be responsible for his mail during proceedings. can i myself have his mail forwarded elsewhere, (the jail itself, for example, is my intention), or must i wait for him to do it himself? & if i can do it myself, is the jail an acceptable address? one of those mail drop places would not be a reasonable option.
