Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My husband I have had marital problems and he has been acting weird. He is very angry. Today he left for work which he never said he had to work on a Sunday. When he left he left the gas on the stove running. Now he is the meticulous person in the house where he always shuts the door, checks the gas range etc.. etc.. My son was shocked the he left it on. When I called him he did not even respond or asked is everyone ok, did you open the windows etc. Is he trying to kill us? I just want to be precautious. Is this something I report to the police? I want to think it was turned on by error. Just does not make sense. How could the flames be off.

I can thing of no means of resolving your fears using the law. Your husband may be suffering from some chemical imbalance in his brain, causing him to act strangely, but the courts only intervene when some law has been violated..
