Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
My husband and I are moving to a new state (less than 2 hours away) due to my husband's job transferring him. My son's father took us to court to try to prevent us from moving out of state with my son, but the judge ruled in our favor. We are allowed to move with my son and the judge set up a visitation schedule for every other weekend. The order states that we will meet my son's father at a halfway point (my husband and I offered to do this in court) for the drop off on Fridays and pick ups on Sundays. My son's father called me today and said that he wants the address and name of the school my son will be attending and the address of our new house. I do not have a problem giving him the address of the school, but i don't really want him to know the address to our new house. I don't understand why he needs it if we are meeting him halfway for the drop offs and pick ups. I have residential custody but we share custody. Am i required to give him the address to our new house?

Think about it. If I had a son living apart from me I would want to know his residential address to know where to look for him should hd suddenly become unavailable for unknown reasons. He is asking to know where his son lives, not where his parents live.
Unless a judge orders you to give him that info you do not need to supply it.
