Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My husband and I have been seperated for 15 yrs. He owes over 50,000 in child support and I dont know where he is. I know he wont sign papers. Hes afraid of child support. What can I do?

There are procedures in place, by Court Rule, which will allow you to get your divorce in spite of the fact that he owes a substantial amount of child support and even if you do not know where he is. He can be served by publishing a notice in the newspaper and ultimately, the divorce will be granted. An experienced family lawyer will be able to accomplish this for you.
