Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
My husband has been going through some severe mental issues since this past may and maybe longer. He was hospitalized for five days. He suffers from paranoia, dilusional thoughts and sights and voices. He had a horrible episode in front of two of our three children which has cause me to leave the home. My oldest (16) has since returned to the home for reasons I do not fully understand. I am traveling with them for school. I don't know what to do about address change or changing thier schools. I just don't know what to do. I want to protect myself legally but not do the wrong thing. He is causing mental stress on our children. I'm not sure if I should file for custody and child support at this time. I am very scared to tell me directly that I am not coming back. I just don't know what to do. Thank you

Sounds like you should pick up the phone and speak to an attorney. Feel free to give me a call at 732/773/2768 to discuss.
My heart truly goes out to you. This is a no-win situation to say the least. An attorney can help you sort it out and it doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg.
No charge to talk on the phone.
