Imancipating the child
My Daughter is 19 , she quit college in Oct06 and is not in school and has a job,would there be a problem in imancipating her and having child support stopped?

sounds like you should be able to do this. it is a lot easier if a lawyer helps.

Should be real easy. While it may be easier with an attorney, you should be able to do this without an attorney. I suggest you just go down to the court and tell them you want to file a motion and they will take it from there. If the other side gets an attorney, you should then get an attorney ASAP.

From your explanation she seems to be emancipated. A motion to have a judge
find her to be emancipated is in order.

If you can prove that she is independent and earning above the Self Support REserve amount, then the Court will more than likely terminate your support obligation.
