Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
what income/bills should be included in a new motion to modify alimony? when i was divorced, i was working, making about $100k annually. i am now married. i was laid off in february and i need to file a motion to get alimony reduced greatly or removed. I still pay child support, and have been without fail. my question is in this new motion, do i include my current wife's income and bills, or just my own. also, if just my own, at what percent, as when i worked, i made up 70% of our household income compared to my current wife's 30%. the original divorce, obviously did not include any other income/bills but my own as i was single.

My suggestion is that you make an appointment to meet with me. If you were just laid off in february it might be too soon to file an application.
