Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Indian male seeking consultation on getting divorce in the USA.

Hi, my wife and I (both Hindus) are married for 2 years with no kids. The marriage was registered in India and she moved to USA immediately after. I have been here for almost 7 years. We had differences in lifestyle to begin with. But after sometime these differences and her actions crossed limits of sanity. She simply wants to stay at home and do nothing. She has fought continuously for the last whole year. We moved to NJ from Chicago last fall and things went very bad within a month where she got very aggressive and abusive. She went back to her home in September (it was already planned). She actually wanted to have a sit down with her and my family to narrate how monstrous my behaviour has been towards her.

After, the sit-down, her nature has completely changed. She now wants to reconcile and get another chance. She has denied everything that went horribly wrong in our relationship. Her family has been vouching for a change in her, but I feel this is more due to the social pressure back in India. She has been there for 5 months now, but she hasn't tried any attempts to reconcile with my parents. She insists on coming back.

However, I do not think she is capable of changing her lifestyle and her personality based on the last 2 years of our marriage during which time I had piled up huge credit card debt amongst other issues.

Kindly suggest what are my options and how do I seek legal advice regarding a divorce or separation in NJ. Thank You.
