Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

insurance

My daughter is separated from her husband. She is still covered under her husband's health insurance. Normally, she would remain on his insurance until the divorce is final. She has become pregnant by her boyfriend. Can her husband legally have her removed from his insurance policy?

Re: insurance

I have read what the other attorney wrote, and I agree. Your daughter needs to hire and pay a lawyer to help her.

Re: insurance

She should really have an attorney for this divorce. If you are worried about him cutting her off, you should file a motion for spousal support to include the insurance, alimony if possible, and to cover other expenses like rent and bills that the couple normally shared.
