Islamic Marraige

I am 16,will i be legally married if i just get islamically married with my parents consent only and no marraige license? Will i have all the same rights according to the law?

In order for you to be married under the laws of the State of New Jersey, in New Jersey (I do not know anything about the laws of other States), you must comply with New Jersey State Law.

Ask your Imam whether the Imam is licensed by the State of New Jersey to perform marriages.

I would never, under no circumstances allow either of my daughters to marry at age 16.

I would never, under no circumstances allow either of my sons to marry a young woman 16 years old or younger.
