in new jersey, if the parents of the child are separated, are there any laws that the other parent cant not have the opposite sex stay the night if the child is there?

There is no specific law concerning this. However, depending on the sleeping arrangements or other pertinent issues, a Judge may feel that this would not be in the best interests of the child. If you wanted to go to Court to prove this, having an attorney to help you prepare the Motion would probably be your best strategy.

and the circumstances of the boyfriend or girlfriend spending the night.
