Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

joint custody rights

I have joint custody of my 4 yr. old daughter. My question is do I have legal right to take my daghter to a pediatrcian or a therapist without consent of my ex-. There are too many factors to list why I would like to take her to these certain people? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your former spouse must be advised of your intentions and the findings from examinations and tests but you can proceed with treatment and care which is not radical or experimental or dangerous. If your former spouse objects to what you are doing he must go back to court to stop you.
