Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Jurisdiction

I was divorced in TN but now reside with my daughter whom I have sole custody of in NJ. I have child support and visitation issues and I need to know if I can get the jurisdiction moved to NJ or do I need to file motions in TN where my ex lives? Thanks!

Re: Jurisdiction

You can docket your Tennessee divorce judgment in New Jersey because jurisdiction over your child is based on residence.
