Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Is it possible to have a jury trial in family court?

With the exception of jury trials for personal injuries alleged to have been caused by a spouse (called "Tevis" claims), no jury trials are permitted in family court.
Keep in mind that this information is given based on the scanty facts that you have provided. And no one can rely on advice from an attorney who has not been retained. In order to be able to rely upon any advice, you need to meet with and retain an attorney, who will be able to give you advice after a full and comprehensive interview. Before you do anything, you should contact an attorney for a full consultation. Good Luck! Rob Gleaner
The Family Part is part of the Chancery Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. There are no jury trials in the Family Part.

Mr. Gleaner is right. It is possible with a Tevis claim, but this is very, very rare.
