Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

keeping track of marital monies

I've been seperated for a few years now, I have no idea what my spouse has spent. I live on my own now; ''What can I do at this point in terms of tracking what is spent on his end?''

For what purpose? Are you going to file for a divorce? You probably should if this isn't going anywhere.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.

When your divorce action is pending you will be able to demand records from your spouse and an accounting as to what he did with the funds.

Call me if you like.

Re: keeping track of marital monies

At this time, without a divorce action pending, you can do nothing NOW. I suggest that you hire a divorce attorney for a consultation and get some legal advice. There is NO reason to stay separated but not get a divorce if in fact all that is happening is that he is spending the savings you accumulated while married.

Get some advice. Decide where you want your life to go. It is really not helping yourself to do nothing.

I do this kind of work. If you would like me to assist, please call my office. I am in Hackensack. You can then decide how you would like to proceed.
