lawyer now... pay later???

#1)Are there any lawyer services- where I can get a lawyer to represent me during my case which starts in January, but pay at a later date (after income starts flowing in from Child support & other sources of income.

#2) I was given a web site Called ''Pre-Paid LegalServices, Inc.'' supposedly they can save me 25% off lawyer fees.. is this ''legit'' company to go threw to help find a lawyer & save some money? ...

I would advise against that. Your best bet is to try to find attorney that will accept some type of lien on your property in lieu of payment until you have money comming in. You can also contact legal services of New Jersey and see if they can help you or point you in the right direction. The bar association for the county where you live may also be a great place to start.

Good luck!

Hi,

I have a question as to why your case will start in January, and what is happening between now and January. You can call the local bar association (the County where you reside) for a lawyer referral, I believe the consultation will cost you $30.00.

Prepaid Legal Services is a "legit" company. The are a publically traded company on the stock market and allow individuals as well as employers to purchase legal services at a discount.

Please call my office if you would like to schedule an appointment. My contact information can be obtained from the links below. Let my secretary know you found me through LawGuru, and I will give you a free initial consultation.
