Legal guardianship of child age 19

What is the process for setting up a legal guardianship of a child who is 19 years old?

the child is too old to be called a child, and is now a young adult.

The Court will grant a guardianship if that is needed (some reason why the young person can not take care of and make decisions for himself/herself)

You can go to the Clerk of the Court for the county in which the young adult lives, and ask them to assist.

Much easier to have a lawyer help.
