if my stepson goes and lives with his grandmother and it is ok with us can she make us pay child support until he is 18?

there are many questions such as: the age of the child--six or 16?; circumstances?; does the other parent approve or pay support?; does the grandparent wish to have support?; is it fair to expect them to support the child at their expense?; does the child have assets or income? --these are only a few of the questions you need to answer before an assessment may be made by a lawyer or court.
