What can be legally done about my 14-yr-old daughter being forced to go on vacation with her dad's new family? She is miserable!

Isn't "miserable" a synonym for "14 year old" girl? In my experience, that is about the time that most of them become miserable, whether their parents are divorced or not. This is also probably the most important time for her to spend time with her dad's new family. You should be encouraging her. Now, I am saying all of this and assuming that there is no abuse being perpetrated on her by either her father or any member of the new family. If that is the case, then you should take strong actions to protect her. But absent that, or any other factors of which I am unaware, dad should be able to integrate her into the new family. A vacation setting is the perfect time to do so.

Keep in mind that this advice is based purely on the little bit of information that you have given to me. There certainly may be other factors that would change my opinion. Further, no one can rely on advice from an attorney who has not been retained. You will only be able to rely on advice from an attorney who you have actually retained. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
