What may or may not be required in the context of the determination of a divorce is not impacted by the cause of action. In other words, the fact that there is an adultery involved in the cause of action will not be determinative of the life insurance issue. Life insurance is a very common requirement to insure money for the spouse or children should the payor pass away before his/her obligations are completed. However, keep in mind that this advice is based purely on the little bit of information that you have given to me. There may be other factors that would change my opinion.
