Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Life Insurance and Social Security Benefits

I am the father (age 67) of 3 dependent children currently receiving social security benefits. Since these benefits will be paid to my dependents whether I live or die til age 18 or 19, do I still have to maintain life insurance policies on them. I am not with their mother and we were never married.
