Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

i live in nj. filed divorce on the base of cruelty also have some proofs. dont have any police complaint. my spouse filed the same cruelty aligation in counterclaim which are wrong.

if i do property setllement, judje won't run my case and give dual judjement? what is dual judjement? if i do settlement, does it mean that i was wrong thats why i did it?

if i do settlement because i can't afford if it goes to trial, how will judjemnet look like? will they mention the cruelty ground? i really need to get it mentioned.

Like many people that come into my office, your view regarding divorce is not based upon the law. You really need to sit down with an attorney. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

You need to hire an attorney. For example, when cases are settled and there are lawyers on both sides of the case the ground for divorce is uaually changed to irroncilable differences.

You really have no idea of what you are doing.

You really do not need to "get it mentioned". The cause of action for divorce means nothing in NJ. Even if tried by a Judge, it makes no difference in the determination of any issue.
