If you have a child and a house with this woman, and you are a New Jersey resident, it will probably be difficult. I doubt you could force a sale because the court would probably rule that the child should stay in the home if at all possible. You don't mention marital status, or what the custody arrangement is, or what you had in mind in terms of a new living arrangement.
You could possibly go to court and ask for a partition sale, but given the child, you will inevitably get into custody issues. It's not clear what the best strategy would be without knowing some more information.
I don't think there's any easy way out of "this mess" for you. You need to think in terms of what the best thing will be for your child. That would probably be if you and your partner stay together and try to maintain as normal a family relationship as possible.
I would suggest that you try to get your partner to go with you to some form of couples or family counseling to see if you can work things out.
