Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I have lost alot of my wages due to the economy and i need to refi my home. I am divorced now and the ex is saying that the only way she will sign the paper for the refi is if via an attorney letter,i am willing to pay her back the difference of the closing cost once the house is sold. for example, i owe 181k on my home now. it will go up to 187 with the refi. she wants that money because even though we are both on the deed, I agreed to pay the mortgage til the house sold.
