Marriage annulment
I want to have my marriage annuled and need to know my rights as far as property and safety. I was forced into the marriage by my husband, he said if I didnt go through with the marriage he would kill me. He has become mentally abusive and now I fear for my safety.

Re: Marriage annulment
Generally, you have the right to equal division of assets under equitable distribution and you have the right to be protected from threats or injury as provided by the Domestic Violance Act. As to a civil annulment, there are technical requirements to satisfy (most people do not) but that does not affect your right to religous annulment.
Seek an attorney for more specific advice as may pertain to you.
Re: Marriage annulment
You are entitled to an annulment. So far as fearing for your life you need the assistance of the police and a domestic violence restraining order.
Your property rights, under an annulment, would the same as though you and he never married.
Call me if you like.
