Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My sister did not asked correctly. she is still married. She does not live with her husband. they have not legally seperated. she was with him for 15 years. they have been married for 12 yrs(11-96 they married). They acquired 5 rental properties over the last 5 years. She has five children , two are his biological children . As of 9-2008 her older son is with his dad, the husband to finish school.(he did terrible the last 2 yrs). She now resides in one of the homes.What she needs to know is what is she entitled to. Financial support ,child support, She wants one of the homes.When he gets mad he cannot say she has to leave. Like she left the house that they both lived in when they were together. she wants stability for herself and child. Can you please help her. She does want a divorce she just dosent know where she stands right now. shes afraid if she filed for a divorce he will make her leave and the divorce will take a very long time to settle and she will be struggling until the divorce is settled. Can you please help my sister Please.

If she is financially dependent upon him, after ten years of marriage, the law says she is ehtitled to permanent spousal support. He is required to pay child support to her for the dependent children living with her until they complete high school and, if they attend college full time, until they complete four years of college. She is entitled to one half of of all assets acquired during the marriage.
