Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I've been married for 15 years. My children are all grown. I have 3, two of them are not biologically his but, he raised them from ages 3,5. We've been together for 26 years. He now wants a divorse. Where do I stand?

Being with someone 23 years and married 15 years is like not being in the pension plan for eight years, but a ten year marriage entitles a dependent spouse to permanent alimony. You are also entitled to one half of all marital assets, regards of in whose name the marital assets are held.
