Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Medical insurance for children in divorce

My final judgement of divorce indicates the medical insurance must be provided for the minor children. My children are 19 and 22 neither going to college at this time. Do I need to continue insurance under the terms of my divorce decree? If so for how long....21 years old?

I would think that if your children are not attending college they should be working and you should be asking the Court to terminate your support obligation to them.

You should file a motion for emancipation so you don't have to support them at all.
