If mother gives custody to god-mother and she tried to get custody back and doesn't show up to court, is it harder for her to get custody back and she doesn't have a place for the child and is trying to get in a program inorder to get a place, but doesn't have a place for the child yet, is it harder for her to get custody back?

It is something that can be used against her plea for custody. The Court must consider the "best interests of the child" in its determination and evidence must be presented. When you say she did not appear in court, was it a conference or the trial itself?
