Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

If a mother lives in Jamaica and the father of her daughter file for the child and take her away to live in New Jersey, he does not live with an adult or anyone else, how can I get back my child to live with me in Jamaica? I am having doubts because he told me that his 18years niece was living there and that was a lie, I am scared for my child.
