Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
motion hearing
Do I need an attorney for a motion hearing? I hope not because I didn't get one because I don't have the money and I don't think I need one.. The motion hearing is so my ex husband can have my son emancipatted(which I don't disagree with) and he wants me to pay his legal fees.Which I don't agree with.

Re: motion hearing
No you don't. Typically there are pro se litigants at these hearings. I would just go on your own.

I don't think you will have any problems. In fact, I doubt that you need to even go. If you don't dispute it, just call the court and advise them that you consent to the relief except for the counsel fees of course.
