Re: Want to move with child to california

You are far past the time when a few questions on this bulletin board would solve your problems.

You need to hire a divorce attorney (this is a divorce type problem) right away.

Let me know if I can help you. I am in Hackensack, right across from the Bergen County Courthouse. I have been to the divorce court in Newark many times.

My contact information can be obtained from the links below, just click on the Attorney Profile link. Let my secretary know you found me through LawGuru. This website, LawGuru, will NOT let me list my phone number in this response.

Disclaimer: Your question and any response does NOT create an attorney-client relationship between you and this law firm. You can not rely on the statements made by an attorney given over the internet. The response that you have received is based only on the small amount of information which you have provided. The exact facts of your situation, including facts which you have not mentioned in your question, may completely change the result for your situation.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but the only real response to this is to get a good attorney. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

You need to file a Motion for Relocation. To be successful on the Motion, you will need to establish a good faith reason for your relocation. Also, you must establish that your child's relationship with the other parent will be maintained.

Hire a lawyer and convince the judge that you are moving for good reasons, with intention of depriving the father of visitation.

Call me if you like.
