Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

move out of state

My ex and I both live in NJ. My daughter is 15 yrs old and has not had contact with her father since June 2007 - his choice. We are thinking of moving from NJ to NC next yr to be closer to my sister and her family (my daughter will be 16 by then). What is the possibility that a judge will look favorably on this move?

There is no way to tell without knowing a lot more information. I strongly suggest you get an attorney if you don't already have one.

If the father continues his present behavior he will not have a leg to stand on.
