Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
moving with my child
I would like to move out of NJ to FL with my 3 month old son. Right now his father has supervised visits in my home. I have family in FL and it will be easier on me financially to live there. What are my chances of being able to leave with him.

I will tell you basically the same thing that I told another parent who asked the same question recently.
Unfortunately, you live too far from my office for me to be able to assist you. I will suggest that you find a decent divorce attorney not too far from you, and get some help with this.
You have a good chance, a very good chance, of success if you can show the Court that you have good reasons to move with the kids, and that it will not hurt the kids to do so.
If your ex will not agree to reasonable conditions (such as splitting the cost of airline tickets and longer times with the kids at summer vacation and school winter recess) then file a motion asking for permission to do this.
Your chances of success will be much greater with the assistance of a divorce attorney who does a good deal of work in your home county, Monmouth County.
Scrape together the money, borrow it or whatever you need to do, then get that attorney working for you and go to Court. Do not waste time.

You can not rely on the statements made by an attorney given over the internet. The response that you have received is based only on the small amount of information which you have provided. Re: moving with my child
The Court will probably allow you to move because you are motivated by the desire to improve the lives of your child and yourself. I would be glad to
assist you in this regard.
Call me if you like.

I suggest you call an attorney and discuss this in person. We need a lot more information before we can help you.
