Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Moving out of New Jersey

Iam non-custodial parent. I have joint legal custody/visitation. Im considering moving out of state. Can I move? Can i still keep joint legal custody? How favorable will the court modify every other weekend to summer(s), holidays, and any additional time if i was visiting new jersey?

Re: Moving out of New Jersey

Substantial visitation time in the summer and holidays and other occasions are available to you, depending upon your ability to come to New Jersey for visitation other than summer visits, which would be weeks at your residence.

You, of course, will retain other aspects of joint custody, such as access to medical and educational records.
