Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

moving out of state with no appointed custody?

Just had a baby, not married to father & separated. No custody paperwork filed, want to move to florida with parents to raise baby. What are my rights if we haven't filed any custody as of yet?

You should go to court, get custody and ask for removal, that is, permission to move out of state.

If any of that is contested, I strongly suggest you get an attorney as cases can be complex.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
