nj alimony laws,

How long do you have to be married in new jersey for one too be entitled to alimony and half of my union's benifits (i.E.) annuity,pension,stocks,s.S.,ext?

Re: nj alimony laws,

Alimony is paid by the bread winning spouse to the dependent spouse. It is not paid where the spouses'

incomes are roughly equal and it it is not paid where the marriage was brief. A ten year marriage entitles the dependent spouse to permanent alimony,

but a young person who can upgrade earning capacity

is normally helped to upgrade income so that alimony is not required.

Half of all assets earned during the marriage are normally awarded to each spouse. You should speak to an attorney.
