Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I am in NJ. I have been in Family Court for 2 years. The case has been mishandled by my first lawyer who has now had to drop my case due to personal reasons. I do not have money for a new lawyer and need to proceed ProSe. I am behind on support payments due to a failing economical time. I received a letter today that states they will attack my credit status and that will ruin my career. In the mean time I am scheduled for a hip replacement in June. that will put me further in arrears. I would love to mediate this out with my adversary's lawyer., How do I file the proper papers to force mediation or go before the Judge?

You need to defend yourselff by filing a motion documenting all that you state in your question

and seeking relief from the threat to attack your credit. Economic mediation is a normal part of

divorce; you need to petition for economic mediation. You also need an attorney to help you.

Call me if you liike, Monday morning.

Going alone is never a good idea but if you really can't afford an attorney, you can't. Ever think of hiring an attorney to guide you through the process? While it won't be free, it should cost you a 1/3 of what it would normally cost. Call me at 732/773/2768 to discuss.
