There is no specific law in this regard. Basically, as a parent, you have the obligation to properly supervise your children. If you do not, the Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) may step in and file a complaint for neglect against you. In the most egregious situations, this may lead to a complaint to terminate parental rights. Obviously, this is very serious.
