Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Is it a given that non-custodial parent must supply transportation for child visits? We are in a difficult situation as we live 75 miles apart. The commute is 1 1/2-2 hours each way.

When it comes to family court, almost nothing is "a given". Equity dictates that the parents should share in the transportation and meet at some half-way point. Of course, much of this also depends on who moved, when and why. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

Absolutely not. Each situation is different, but it is NOT fair to just stick the noncustodial with 3 hours of driving for each visitation. Also, with this much separation, you will want a visitation schedule that makes more sense than the standard every other weekend.
