Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
when a order to show cause is denied as non-emergent and all relief sought is hereby converted into a motion returnable to the judge on a specified date....does returnable mean that a hearing will actually take place or is that when the judge will review the motion, opposition and cross motion documents?

"Returnablel" means the date the motion is to be decided, with or without oral argument.

Either you are doing this without an attorney or you have a problem talking to your attorney. Either way, its not good.
