Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

If a parent is looking to change the custody of their child, from two times a week ( plus every other saturday) to possibly more, what is the most a parent will gain from this? Also, if the child is permitted to sleep over the parent's home, what is the guidelines for this?

You really should sit down with an attorney to discuss the pro's and con's of every option you have. I'm not sure I really understand your question. Call me at 732/247/3340.

Every case is decided on its own particular facts and circumstances. Obviously, the most the parent could gain is every single night. Is that likely? No. But your question is very vague with no facts as to the circumstances, so it really cannot be answered properly.

Keep in mind that this advice is given based on the little bit of information that you have provided in your question. My advice may change based on other information. Further, no one can rely on advice from an attorney who has not been retained. You cannot rely on this advice because we have not personally met and you have not retained me as an attorney. If you have not already done so, you should immediately meet with a Family Law attorney for a full consultation before you take any further steps. You may feel free to call me to discuss this matter in more detail. If you do so, mention Law Guru and your first one hour of time will be free. Good luck!
