Parent moves out of household, out of state

Does a parent that moves from the family household to an out of state address, have any custodial rights to the children?

Forget about parental rights to children; the children are not property. The question is what is in the best interest of the children; that is what the Court will consider.

Of course, but without a court order, the out of state parent will hit a roadblock if the in state parent says that the other cannot see the children.
