Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Parenting Time

With consent from my childrens father i could relocate to another state. It states that his parenting time begins in June once the children complete school. With alternating recess. That any other parenting time will be mutually agreed upon.

I dont physically leave New Jersey till they finish school. So i would think that unless i agree to more time before i leave he would get only June after there done with school.

Re: Parenting Time

It isn't quite clear what his agreed upon time is. Is it only the balance of June after school ends, or will it extend through part of the summer. The exact times should be specified, including the first summer, so there are no misunderstandings. Are you addressing the transportatioon issues as well?

That agreement must be put into a Court Order and submitted to the Judge. If you don't have an attorney, get one to write the Order. You'll save a lot of potential problems in the future which can be very costly.
