parenting time

when the courts calculate overnites for child support calculations do they take into consideration summer vacation

my ex and i alternate weeks during the summer

It really depends. You can make a case for it, but the theory is that it will balance out. You don't have any ON's during the ex's summer vacation and vice versa. Even if you added the time in, I don't think it would make that much of a difference.

In my experience, most Judges count it as over nights for the Parent of the Alternate. It can make a difference if it increases their overnights to 104 or greater because they can then use a shared parenting work sheet.
