Parent's rights to confiscate child's property

Is it legal for my parent to confiscate something that I paid for?

I think your real question is whether or not your parents have the right to discipline you as they see fit. I am sure that you know the answer to that. Of course they do. The fact that you may have purchased the item makes no difference. As long as you are a minor, your parents have every right to make these types of decisions. I would suggest that you have a long talk with them about this. Good luck!
