Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Past Due Child Support
My ex was ordered to pay 1105 per month until my daughter turned 18 or graduated from high school. He has decided not to pay his last payment. Can I do anything to collect? He has plenty of money. He lives in New Jersey, and I live in CA.

His obligation can be enforced in New Jersey and he can be required to pay your attorney's fee.

You can hire an attorney in New Jersey to collect the child support, or you can contact the child support agency in the county in which you reside and request that they enforce the support order. This service is free. However, it is often slow.
