Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Paternity Results Hearing

I went for a court ordered paternity test. I didn't get the results yet, but I got a hearing date to come back. If the results are that I am not the father, would I have to go in for another hearing or are we to assume that I am the father and that's why I have to go back. The county welfare is the one persuing me for child support and health benefits for said child. Thank you.

Paul

Re: Paternity Results Hearing

If you took a dna test which excluded you as the father, that would be the end of the matter.
