paternity testing

i think the child that i have been paying support for is not mine, what can i do?

You should get a paternity test done to determine who is the father of this child.

If this child's mother and you are married then the courts will assume that you are the father without a paternity test.

If your suspicion is sufficiently based on facts you can get a court to order a dna test to determine paternity.

It depends how old the child is. If the child is rather young, file a motion for a DNA test. You probably don't need an attorney for this. However, most child support orders are wrong, so you may want an attorney at some point. Also, if the child is old enough and you have been paying for a while, the court could still order you to pay for the child.
