Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

i pay child support for my 19 year old son. He is attending community college two classes per semester, skipping some semesters. I have read that it is unlikely that a NJ Family Court Judge will grant emancipation as long as he is attending college even part time. Any advise would be appreciated. I feel that his mother will encourage him to drag this on for as many years as possible.
